The kit includes a 4.72 x 3.94 x 0.39 inch acrylic Sandwich, which serves as the living space for the ants, and a 7.09 x 3.94 x 1.97 inch Forage Box. Additionally, the kit provides 1 acrylic lid, 1 feeder, 1 drinker, 1 plastic pipette, and 1 connecting tube.

For sustenance, the kit includes 10 ml of blue sugar liquid food. To create the living environment, the kit provides 250 gr of mixed sand/clay for the living space and 50 gr of mixed sand/clay for decoration. Furthermore, 50 gr of sand in various colors (depending on availability) and 50 gr of stone granules for the foraging box's decoration are included.

The installation process is straightforward. First, the sand should be added to the pre-moistened Sandwich before introducing the ants. The connection hole in the Sandwich, which allows access to the foraging area and drainage of excess water, will be plugged when the sand is added. Once the ants have dug it out, they will find and utilize the hole.

It is important to note that only a portion of the soil should be moistened, using approximately 5-10 ml of water, to avoid making the anthill muddy.

The AntHouse Basic Kit is an acrylic ant farm designed for breeding ants. It is suitable for ant colonies of more than 50 workers in small species and 25 in large species. The kit is manufactured in the European Union and is recommended for both children and adults interested in observing the fascinating world of ants.
